Dr. Paul Aoun Joins Palm Beach Diabetes & Endocrine Specialists, PA


July 1, 2011, West Palm Beach, FL. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Paul Aoun will be joining our practice on July 18, 2011. Dr. Aoun will be assuming the medical care of Dr. Erik Cohen’s patients at our Boynton Beach location. Dr. Cohen has decided for personal reasons to move to New York. We appreciate the many years of excellent patient care that Dr. Cohen has provided to his patients and we wish him well in his future endeavors.

Dr. Aoun received his D.O. and a Ph.D. in pharmacology and neuroscience from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital Program, where he subsequently became Chief Resident of the department. Dr. Aoun performed his clinical fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Aoun specializes in the treatment of diabetes, thyroid, and other endocrine disorders. He will be seeing patients in our Boynton Beach office location: 8200 Jog Road, Suite 200, Boynton Beach, FL 33472..

In an effort to meet the various needs of the Boynton Beach community and its surrounding neighborhoods, Dr. Aoun will be accepting most insurance plans and offering convenient office hours. He will be on staff at JFK Hospital, Good Samaritan Medical Center and Jupiter Hospital, along with the other physicians in our practice.
